Hey all.
I'm looking for makers of low-loss circuit board material for some research. The kind used in antenna systems. I need to find actual makers, not dist's of them since I need to know the properties of the boards.

Anyone have an idea who makes them, or a site where I can hunt some down? thanks!

Rogers Corp. of Arizona makes PTFE and suchlike exotic circuit boards. You might ask in sci.electronics.design for other major manufacturers.

People say that with decent design you can use plain old FR-4 up to 3 or 4 GHz, though.

If the parameter you're measuring isn't one that they specify, there's also the possibility that it varies from batch to batch— measuring a sample might not give you a reliable indicator.

I'l looking for constant/loss, magnetic perm., along with strength and modulus I think. I've made several low-loss boards already from several materials, but they want me to have a baseline control database for existing boards.

and to think, I'm a telcom major, NOT materials engineering.
